About Carol Hostetter Carol Hostetter taught part-time at IU Bloomington for many years as a visiting lecturer before becoming an assistant professor of social work in 2001. She was promoted to associate professor in 2007 and to professor in 2014. She is currently the director of the Bachelor of Social Work Program at IUB.
